Cheesiness versus cool on the campaign trail

OK, so you shouldn't select a presidential candidate on the basis of his/her perceived coolness - still less the ability of his/her supporters to produce cool campaign songs. But surely you can read something into the sheer squirm-making cheesiness of these unofficial videos from the Clinton camp:






By complete contrast, here are a couple of unofficial tributes from Obama supporters - the first ('Yes We Can') featuring Will.i.am of Black Eyed Peas, Herbie Hancock, John Legend and Scarlett Johannsen, and the second ('Fired Up Ready to Go') produced by the Bergevin Brothers and featuring Matt Cameron from Pearl Jam and the Total Experience Gospel Choir.
