Inspiration from Obama, sour grapes from Clinton

Following her heavy defeat in yesterday's Wisconsin primary, Hillary Clinton provided an object lesson in how not concede graciously:




The Obama campaign had waited, generously, for Clinton to give her concession speech before Barack began his victory oration. But when they saw that she was using the opportunity to return to her usual negative attacks, they changed their minds. Embarrassingly for Hillary, the networks cut away from her speech while she was still in full flow, and went instead with Obama's speech in Houston, in which he tempered his usual visionary rhetoric with more detailed policy plans, and demonstrated why he has begun to chip away at his rival's support among women and working-class voters.
